PROBLEM´S QUESTIONS BEFORE THE FORMULATION OF EMPIRICAL GENETIC LAWS IN BRNO IN 1819

(Problémové otázky před stanovením „empirických genetických zákonů“ v Brně v roce 1819)

With the series of methodological questions encouraged Ch. C. André (1763–1841) in 1818 in Brno the sheep breeders to elucidate the transmission of traits determining wool quality of parents to offspring. Next year generalised the Hungarian breeder E. Festetics the treated experiences in the definition of the empirical genetic laws. André´s questions are elucidated also in the context of the research question of heredity formulated in Brno in 1830s.
